Develops large flattened tubers topped with felted leaves. Unlike most Sinningia, the flowers of this species are pure white and about 4-5 inches long. 1.5-2 inch tubers. Broken shade/part sun. Moderate water in warm season, drier in winter. Plants need to be raised in total shade as the tuber can sunburn easily.
